Rest in peace Graeme McLaren
Everybody at Altrincham Football Club is devastated to learn that Graeme McLaren, an avid Alty fan and dedicated member of our Pitch Crew, has died.
Along with his son, Angus, Graeme followed the Robins through thick and thin and was a regular at away fixtures up and down the country.
A member of our Pitch Crew for several seasons, Graeme spent countless hours volunteering to help maintain the pitch at The J.Davidson Stadium in the best possible condition.
An unassuming but hugely popular figure in and around the club, it typified how much Alty meant to him that he was thrilled to be invited as a guest to participate in the club’s recent golf day at Mottram Hall. The invitation came from Jordan Hulme, and as Graeme lined up alongside the former Alty skipper and the other two members of their four-man team on the first tee, his sense of pride was clear to see.

Alty through and through, Graeme will be sorely missed by everybody at the club, and we would like to send our deepest condolences to all of his family and friends.
