Alty travel north on Saturday to face Hartlepool United in a Enterprise National League lunchtime kick-off at The Prestige Group Stadium.

In what will be the first outing of 2026 for Neil Gibson's men, a change in recent fortunes is hoped for with four recent additions - Otis Khan, Liam Humbles, Josh Grant and Anthony Forde - all in contention for the matchday squad.

The Opposition

Pools find themselves 10th in the Enterprise National League, four points off the play-offs, following last Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Woking.

Nicky Featherstone's side's most recent win came in their final game of 2025, a 2-1 away success at title-contenders Rochdale.

Striker Alex Reid has been our hosts main goal threat so far in 2025/26; their top scorer has struck five goals and an assist.

Last Time We Met

Back in August it was Hartlepool who came out on top at The J.Davidson Stadium with a 2-0 victory courtesy of goals by Alex Reid and Reiss McNally.

In this fixture last season Regan Linney and Lucas Weaver scored late on as the Robins secured a 2-1 victory on a cold February evening at The Prestige Group Stadium.

Our friends from the Match Of The Dames initiative will be at Hartlepool this weekend introducing a new group of local residents to the excitement of Enterprise National League football.

We hope they have a great time at the game and we look forward to welcoming Match Of The Dames back to The J.Davidson Stadium on Saturday, January 24th.
