Altrincham are delighted to have secured what promises to be a Business Club blockbuster after renowned Brit Fest founders Anthony and Edward Prophet agreed to top the bill at our March breakfast get-together.
Our Business Club prides itself on the calibre of speaker it regularly attracts to The John King Lounge within The J.Davidson Stadium, and this month will be no different as brothers Anthony and Edward lift the lid on one of the great local success stories of recent years.
They launched the first-ever Brit Fest to a fanfare of publicity and anticipation in July 2024, and the inaugural three-day event on a 100-acre site at Ashley Hall Showground in Altrincham did not disappoint as huge crowds were treated to the best of British music, along with food from a wide variety of vendors, family entertainment and a host of other attractions.
It has gone from strength to strength ever since, and with a stellar cast of bands and singers, from Happy Mondays and Wet Wet Wet to Holly Johnson and Jason Donovan, already lined up for this July's extravaganza, there is plenty of ground for Anthony and Edward to cover when they take the microphone in what is sure to be a packed John King Lounge on Friday March 27th, starting at 8.30am.
The brothers have been recognised for the positive impact they have made on the local community, particularly through the entertainment and hospitality sectors, and they are rightly proud of the way The Brit Fest has already become one of the North West’s fastest-growing live music festivals.
In addition, they are both Olivier Award nominees with extensive experience of producing large-scale live events across the UK and beyond, spanning theatre, touring productions and major outdoor festivals.

Ahead of their visit to The J.Davidson Stadium on the last Friday of this month, the brothers kindly furnished us with more background information on the Brit Fest and described how excited they are to be our March Business Club guest speakers, writing:
"Launched in Cheshire at Ashley Hall, The Brit Fest was created as a premium, boutique-style festival celebrating iconic British music, culture and community. In just a short space of time, it has welcomed tens of thousands of attendees, generated significant regional economic impact and attracted major heritage and contemporary artists.
"The festival blends world-class headline performances with curated VIP experiences, family-friendly programming and strong local partnerships. Its focus is on quality over chaos, creating a compact, high-end experience that feels welcoming but ambitious.
"The 2026 edition continues that growth trajectory, with an expanded programme across four days and a line-up featuring internationally recognised artists. Alongside the music, the festival continues to develop its hospitality offering, live-in vehicle capacity and strategic partnerships, further strengthening its position as a key cultural moment in the Cheshire and Greater Manchester calendar.
"Partnering with Altrincham FC and appearing at the Business Club is hugely important to us. The Brit Fest is built on collaboration with like-minded regional organisations, and the Business Club provides a brilliant platform to connect with ambitious local businesses."
We are delighted to be able to welcome you both to The J.Davidson Stadium, Anthony and Edward, where you can be sure of an attentive audience of Business Club members, eager to hear more of your success story after the usual start of hot breakfast rolls and a choice of tea or coffee.
