Altrincham are delighted to announce another new signing after further bolstering the team's options up front with the arrival of exciting winger Tyrese Sinclair on loan.

The 21-year old can operate in any of the attacking positions behind the main striker but is primarily a specialist winger with an eye for goal, and it is with great pleasure that the Robins welcome him to The J.Davidson Stadium for the rest of the season.

Hailing from Kingston-Upon-Thames, Tyrese, who turns 22 on Saturday, came through the Academy ranks at Blackburn Rovers before joining Mansfield Town in 2017.

His impact at Field Mill was such that he was voted the club's young player of the year after a 2018-19 campaign that ended with his outstanding form being rewarded with his first professional contract.

He made his senior debut in an EFL Trophy tie with Everton under-21s in August 2019 and went on to make 33 appearances for the Stags, scoring three times, before signing a two-year deal with Rochdale last summer after a successful trial period at the Crown Oil Arena.

He announced himself to Dale fans by scoring twice in a 4-1 pre-season friendly win at Scunthorpe United on his first day with the League Two club, and he has made 12 competitive starts so far this season, with three goals to his name.

Great to have you on board for the remainder of our Vanarama National League campaign, Tyrese, and all the best for a happy and successful time in Alty colours.
