After a very productive Bank Holiday weekend Alty look to make it three wins from three Enterprise National League games when Eastleigh come to town on Friday evening (7:45pm).

Following victories over Halifax and Forest Green Neil Gibson's side are on a high heading into our latest evening clash at The J.Davidson Stadium.

"We've had two very good victories. Two victories that were hard fought and that the squad deserved with the amount of effort they've put in against two good sides in Halifax and Forest Green.

"Eastleigh will be a tough proposition, they've started the season well, so it'll be up to us to put that same effort and determination in on Friday night to make sure we give ourselves the best possible opportunity to come away with another three points.

"And I can't stress enough just how much the fans can help us once again, just like they have all season, in getting down in their numbers and backing the lads."

Match Night at The J.Davidson Stadium

We open the turnstiles at 6:30pm, with all fans able to enjoy the pre-match build-up in the extended Fan Zone and CSH Bar.

Expect excellent beers from the likes of Pomona Island and Sureshot to be pouring throughout the evening in the Fan Zone, while you can get a delicious Cottoms pie from numerous outlets around the stadium.

Our new, permanent club shop will be open all evening inside the Fan Zone, fully stocked with the latest lines of Alty merch, including this season's new home and away shirts.

Security on Matchdays

Working closely with our stewarding team, and in consultation with Greater Manchester Police, we are carrying out screening procedures to prevent potential weapons or prohibited items from entering the ground. These checks are now becoming common practice at football stadiums across the country and are part of our shared responsibility to protect each other.

The introduction of Martyn’s Law (Terrorism Protection of Premises Act 2025) has also placed greater emphasis on the legal duty of venues like ours to assess risks and have robust safety plans in place. While much of this reflects what we already do, it reinforces the need for vigilance and preparation in today’s world.

We completely understand that supporters may sometimes feel these checks go too far. However, we want to be clear: safety will always come first. Our goal is to provide the best possible matchday experience in a safe and welcoming environment for all.
