Alty cruised into the Emirates FA Cup First Round and a home tie against League One Notts County with an emphatic display at FC United.
After bossing the opening exchanges of the Fourth Round Qualifying replay, Alty found themselves a goal down after 12 minutes when Matty Grivosti hammered a 20 yard shot in off Harry Isted's crossbar.
It only took three minutes for parity to be restored when Leo Farrell danced his way through the FC United defence before finishing low beyond Dan Atherton.
Further chances came and went for Matty Kosylo and Farrell, before Jimmy Knowles put the visiting Robins ahead on 31 minutes with a clinical close-range finish off Sam Taylor's low cross.

Four minutes later Alty had a deserved two-goal lead. Farrell was sent clear in the right channel and although his effort hit the post, Aidan Barlow was on hand to tap into an empty net.
The tie was as good as done within 20 minutes of the restart as Alty continued to attack in waves. Sam Taylor finished off a great move down the left flank to make it 4-1 on 58 minutes, before Aidan Barlow scored his second of the night for close in seven minutes later.
Leo Farrell then grabbed his second with an instinctive effort off a Taylor centre to seal safe passage into round one, before Niall Watson grabbed a late consolation for the hosts.
