International call-up for Justin Donawa
Justin Donawa's fine form for Altrincham has earned him another international call-up after he was named in Bermuda's squad for two forthcoming group games in the Concacaf Nations League.
The 27-year old summer signing from Solihull Moors has already been capped over 20 times and is set to add to his tally as Bermuda bid to improve on their current third-place standing in League B Group C.
They face a double-header with the team immediately above them as they travel to Belize on Saturday October 14th (kick-off 8pm local time) and then take on the same opponents at home on Tuesday October 17th (kick-off 7.30pm local time).
It means the versatile right-winger, who can also play wing-back or full-back, will miss Alty's Emirates FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie with Oldham Athletic at The J.Davidson Stadium a week on Saturday.
He should be back in time for the resumption of Alty's Vanarama National League campaign against Dorking Wanderers on Saturday October 21st, though his fitness and general physical condition will have to be assessed after outward and return flights of around 10 hours each and two competitive international fixtures in quick succession.
Justin has made a positive impact at Alty with his pace and adaptability, and everyone at the club would like to congratulate him on his call-up and wish him every success as he carries the Robins' name on to the international stage.
