Altrincham FC are absolutely delighted to announce that agreement has been reached for a long-term extension to our hugely-successful partnership with global sportswear giants Puma.
It was hailed as a major coup when Puma came on board as kit suppliers at the start of the 2021-22 season, and it's a measure of Alty's standing as a forward-thinking club of real substance that one of the world's leading sportswear manufacturers have committed to a new deal with us for a further FOUR years.
The initial arrangement was due to run out at the end of the current campaign, but we can now look forward to Puma providing all our official kit, training wear and travel wear for the rest of the decade after an extension was ratified that will last until the summer of 2029.
The Robins are immensely proud to be working hand-in-hand with such a market-leading global brand, and Brian Morley, from Puma Teamwear, made it clear the feeling was mutual, as he said: "It's fantastic news that we can continue what we've started with Alty. The club's ambition is clear to see, and we'll play our part in supporting them over the next four seasons."
Alty Director, John Coyne, hailed it as another significant step forward in the club's continuing development on and off the pitch, saying: "Following the growth of the club over the last few seasons, we weren't short of offers from teamwear providers, but Puma's proposal was extremely compelling - commercially, it's another fantastic deal for the club."
Since we first teamed up with Puma, and joined the likes of Manchester City, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund in being kitted out by them, the response from supporters and players alike has been overwhelmingly positive.
The demand for Puma-branded training wear and replica kits has been unprecedented, demonstrating just how well this partnership aligns with the club’s ambitions both on and off the pitch. The quality, design, and performance of Puma products have made a significant impact, and we are excited to build on this success.
A key element of this extended agreement is the assurance that all Altrincham FC kits will remain bespoke to the club, rather than being standard template designs. This ensures that our players and fans will continue to wear unique, high-calibre kits that truly represent Alty’s identity.
Beyond placing an exceptional quality of sportswear at our disposal, Puma have played a significant role in supporting the club in other areas, including assisting with point-of-sale strategies and delivering marketing initiatives that have enhanced our commercial operations.
Their involvement has also extended to arranging multiple high-profile photo and video shoots featuring Premier League stars at The J.Davidson Stadium, a collaboration that has not only brought valuable exposure to the club but also provided an excellent revenue stream.
This partnership reflects Altrincham FC’s ongoing commitment to working with industry-leading brands that share our vision for growth and excellence.
We can’t wait to share our new 2025/26 designs with you all in the coming months - including an away kit honouring one of our famous FA Cup fixtures on its 30-year anniversary - and once again we'll be looking to our supporter community to feature in our launch campaigns.
Watch out for more exciting details as our plans begin to take shape here on the club's website and our social media channels.
