Everton NWC 0 Altrincham 4

Harley Renshaw scored twice as Altrincham's youngsters added another three points to their National League tally at Walton Hall Park, the home of Everton Women.

Alty started the game off well, dominating possession and maintaining their unbreakable shape off the ball.

Early in the first half, after a scramble inside the box, Everton struggled to clear their lines, and Renshaw was on hand to pick the ball up and slot it into the bottom right corner with finesse.

As the first half progressed, Altrincham kept finding joy on the left side, with Antoniades and Denise linking up to create attack after attack.

The second goal came from Altrincham’s number nine, Gbolagun, just before half-time.

A wonderful piece of skill, after receiving the ball from a throw-in, led to a give-and-go with Sneyd on the edge of the box, and Gbolagun then rocketed the ball into the top right corner of the net with his weaker foot.

After encouraging words from the coaching staff at the break, the Robins came out full of energy, determined to kill the game off.

Shortly after, Renshaw struck again, as he received a well-switched ball from Herreaman in midfield and cut on to his right foot to fire his side's third goal past the Everton keeper.

Altrincham’s back line continued to defend with courage, led by skipper Bunting in goal.

The final goal came from substitute Abanwa, who made an immediate impact off the bench. Picking up the ball on the right side, he showed fantastic skill to beat two players before finishing with a superb strike with his left foot.
