The Role
The club is looking for a dedicated and skilled Head of Analysis to integrate within our First Team coaching and performance staff. The Head of Analysis is responsible for providing comprehensive and timely analytical support to the First Team Manager and Coaching Staff.
This includes pre-match analysis of opponents, post-match review of team and individual performance, and live analysis during matches, all aimed at gaining a competitive edge and driving continuous performance improvement.
About You
The successful candidate will have previous experience working as an analyst, within a professional football environment. We value positivity, enthusiasm and hard work, these traits will stand any applicants in good stead. We are looking for the following attributes in particular:

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering and leading analysis across the club including pre, live, post and training analysis
- Filming (wide angle) games and training
- Managing and developing a team of interns
- Able to deliver insights and tactical tweaks live in game
- Live and Post-Event Coding of matches and training
- Ensuring loan players have clips available after fixtures
- Lead staff pre-match meetings and helping to create successful game plans
- Produce pre-match reports for upcoming fixtures
- Ability to lead a 1:1 player development meeting using video and data to support insights
- Creating post-match meetings and videos for players and staff
- Ability to meet continuous and strict deadlines
- Creating and storing individual and team archives
- Attend all games and training sessions throughout the season
Essential Skills
- IT literate with access to own laptop/computer
- Experience of using performance analysis equipment (camera, tripod and analysis software)
- Experience working in professional football
- Experience leading analysis meetings
- Knowledge of Analysis Software
- Outstanding knowledge of football
Desirable Skills
- Experience leading a department
- Experience managing budgets
- Knowledge of / previous experience in the National League
- Full driving license
- Based in or around Greater Manchester
Other key information
You will be mainly based at The J.Davidson Stadium and the club’s Egerton training facility with flexibility to work from home when appropriate. Your working hours will suit the demands of the club and you will be required to work all home and some away matchdays.
