Altrincham FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of exciting striker Francesca Boyle, strengthening the club’s attacking options ahead of the second half of the season.

A player who has spent multiple seasons at tier five side Crewe Alexandra Women within their Emerging Talent Centre and has also regularly trained with the first team at Crewe.

Boyle has been a key member of the Altrincham FC Women Elite U18 side that has won six of their opening seven games in the Cheshire Women's and Youth Football League U18 Premier Division.

Having scored over 20 goals in 14 matches for the Elite U18s, Boyle has trained every week with the Altrincham FC Women first team, as is the regime at the Robins.

First team manager Daryll Abrahams described her as “physically strong, tall, quick and technically gifted with a winner’s mentality.”

Upon turning 16 in December, Boyle had multiple offers to play senior football, receiving interest from several clubs across the North West including teams from higher divisions, though has chosen to commit to the Robins!
