After a thrilling cup encounter, Spencer O'Connor will take charge of his first North West Women's Regional League, Division One Central game as Salford City Lionesses are the visitors to Partington Sports Village for a 2pm kick-off.

A tough test for the Robins marks their first home league game for 10 weeks against an unbeaten Salford side.

Last Time Out

A six-goal thriller in the first round of the Macron League Cup finished 3-3 against Haslingden Ladies, with Alty battling superbly after a red card in the 59th minute. The resulting penalty shootout was won 4-3 by Haslingden, but Alty can take lots of positives and look forward to entering the League Plate.

Hear It From Duncan Jones

"Getting back to our own familiar ground gets rid of all of those butterflies because you've got all of those knowns, so in contrast to the last Salford City game where we didn't know the pitch or the dressing room, that kind of distracted from our focus."

Salford City Lionesses

The Robins' most recent league game was the reverse fixture against Salford at the AIG Stadium. Shanai Underwood netted in injury time, though it was only a consolation as Salford came out 4-1 winners.

Caz Simone's outfit sit 2nd and have dropped just two points in their opening six league games, drawing 1-1 with Wythenshawe Town Women, who lead the league by a single point but have played two games more than Salford.
