IT'S all systems go on the pitch, as a new season approaches, and Altrincham are looking in better shape than ever away from the action as well after another of our key partners pledged their continuing support for the campaign ahead.

Barely 48 hours on from J.Davidson renewing their agreement as stadium naming rights holders, the club are delighted to announce that McHale and Co have consented to carry on as shirt sleeve sponsors.

It is another significant breakthrough that will benefit the club's core objective of providing manager Phil Parkinson with the means to keep implementing a winning formula that has so far delivered two promotions and, last season, a place in the Vanarama National League play-off semi-finals.

It's also a matter of huge importance to the club that, in town centre-based law firm McHale and Co, they have like-minded partners who devote similar energy and enthusiasm to ensuring the needs of the local community are met.

Commenting on the new agreement, Alty Chief Executive Sam Mackenzie said: "Our relationship with McHale and Co is one we value greatly, and it is wonderful news that they are continuing to support us as shirt sleeve sponsors.

"We are delighted they want to carry on having their name on our shirt sleeves. It forms an important part of our sponsorship income, which, as a whole, plays such a vital role in the club's ongoing success, and it is particularly gratifying that they share so many of the values we hold dear.

"Their work in the community is outstanding, and they do so much to help make the Altrincham area such a rewarding place to work and live in. I know there are some avid Alty fans within the McHale and Co workplace, and I look forward to seeing them at matches in the forthcoming season."

Long established as one of the region's leading law firms, the start of McHale and Co's backing as shirt sleeve sponsors coincided with Alty turning professional, and both have gone from strength to strength in the intervening two years.
