Update ahead of Easter Monday

WE’RE only days away from the vital Vanarama National League fixture with Oldham Athletic at the J. Davidson Stadium on Monday 1st April.

Below is an update for all fans ahead of the game on Easter Monday, which will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and remains as a 3pm kick-off.

Admission

After an extensive review, and in close consultation with Trafford Borough Council and Greater Manchester Police, we can advise that there will be no further tickets issued to our visitors from Oldham Athletic.

The Latics have already sold their allocation of 1,000 tickets, at the Venditan Chequers End and in the top section of the Family Stand. Therefore, the remaining tickets are available to Alty fans only. Any Oldham fan purchasing a ticket in the home end will be refused admission or ejected with no refund given.

Tickets to home fans are being sold here by sections of the ground as follows:

  • Atlantic Timber Main Stand
  • Community Sports Hall terrace
  • Venditan Golf Road terrace
  • Benchmark Security Popular Side

Season Ticket Holders should confirm their section of the ground preference here, and Alty Junior Season Ticket Holders should confirm here

There will be no movement within the ground, and access to facilities will be specific to the section of the ground you occupy.

Policing & Stewarding

As you would expect for such an important fixture, there will be an increased stewarding presence, with an enhanced searching regime. We advise you to arrive at the J.Davidson Stadium in plenty of time for kick-off. Our turnstiles will be open from 1pm.

There will be a police presence both inside and outside the ground. We thank you all for your patience and understanding as we take additional steps to ensure the safety and security of everyone attending.

Temporary road closures

To minimise disruption to our neighbours and to facilitate safe entry and exit for all supporters on Monday there will be brief temporary road closures in place after the game. Signs are now in place outside the stadium.

Moss Lane will be closed between Sandileigh Avenue and the Golf Road junction for 15 minutes after full time to facilitate safe crowd dispersal (circa 5pm for 15 minutes).

Easter Monday’s game is arguably one of the most important in our recent history and it is undoubtedly a massive game with our near neighbours also chasing a playoff spot. Due to the importance of this fixture for both teams we have put extra measures in place to create a safe and enjoyable match day experience for all spectators.

We look forward to seeing you getting behind the Robins this Easter Monday.
