The Robins make their longest trip of the season on Saturday (3pm) as they travel down to Cornwall to face Enterprise National League new boys Truro City.

Neil Gibson and his side face their third game in seven days and will be looking to end the week with two wins out of three games after Wednesday night’s 1-0 win over Boston United, with a huge 319-mile journey down to the Truro City Stadium to look forward to.

Truro City sit in 23rd place on 12 points and will be looking to bounce back from their heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Solihull Moors on Wednesday night in the West Midlands.

During his 18 months in charge, John Askey has led The Tinners to new heights as this season is the club's first in the fifth tier of English football following a title winning 2024/25 season in the National League South.

“It comes around quick and really fast on Saturday at Truro. It's a huge trip but one we'll prepare for properly. We've got an early start on Friday morning, we'll stop off and train on the way down to Cornwall. We'll be going through shape, doing video analysis, making sure the players recover from Wednesday and that we're ready to go again on Saturday afternoon.”
