Robins announce retained list as squad for next season begins to take shape

PHIL Parkinson has kept the bulk of his highly-successful 2023-24 squad intact after putting the finishing touches to his retained list for next season.

Chris Conn-Clarke, top scorer with 23 goals, and winger Olly Crankshaw, working his way back to fitness after a long-term injury, are on a nine-man list of players who are retained under contract, while Lewis Banks, George Wilson, Regan Linney and Justin Amaluzor are also all remaining with the club after options in their contracts were triggered.

In addition, new deals have been offered to Elliot Osborne, Matty Kosylo, Matt Gould and highly-promising young midfielder Owen German, and the club are awaiting an answer from them.

Central defender Joel Bailey from the Academy has also been offered terms, while James Jones, Justin Donawa, Max Haygarth, Amaar Hussain and Sean Lawton have been invited to join the pre-season build-up.

Dan Mooney, Dior Angus, Joey Jones, Mitch Hancox, Liam Brockbank and George Burroughs have been released, and we thank them for their services, while the club wish all the very best to young trio Loui Williams, Ewan McGeady and Tom Jones, who are also not being retained.
