We're delighted to announce the signing of central defender Reuben Lopata-White on loan from Premier League club Leeds United.

The 20-year-old will be at The J.Davidson Stadium till January and is in contention for Saturday's opening away game of the new Enterprise National League season at Sutton United.

A product of the Leeds United academy, a setup our new number 21 joined when he was 10, Reuben gained senior first team experience during 2025/26 with Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton, while also featuring prominently over the last two years in Premier League 2 for Leeds United's u21 squad.

Hear it from our new man, Reuben Lopata-White: "I'm really pleased to have joined Alty and I'm excited to get started with training and playing games.

"I'm looking forward to getting to know my teammates and playing in front of the fans."

And here's the gaffer, Neil Gibson, on Reuben's arrival: "We're really excited to get Reuben into the building, he's come highly recommended to us as a player who fits the profile of defenders we want at Alty.
