ALTY seek a league double over Southend United in the Vanarama National League when we travel to the Roots Hall Football Stadium this Tuesday (7.45pm).

The Robins (9th, 52pts) were initially set to face The Shrimpers (16th, 41pts) in January, however, the game was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Alty now have the opportunity to snap a three-game slide with a statement victory on the road.

The Gaffer

After the Maidenhead defeat: “I always trust my players. As disappointed and frustrated as I am with today’s performance… it is never going to be all smooth running. We have to draw a line in the sand quickly.”

Altrincham 2-0 Southend (Justin Amaluzor 58’, Justin Donowa 88’)

Last November – Second-half goals from Justin Amaluzor and Justin Donowa extended Alty’s unbeaten run to 10 games in an exceptional performance at The J.Davidson Stadium.

Over 2,000 Altrincham fans witnessed a vintage attacking performance from Phil Parkinson’s side as the Robins’ bench made the difference after the break.
