ALTY return to Isuzu FA Trophy action this Saturday (3pm) as we travel to the West Midlands to face Kidderminster Harriers in a fourth round clash.

After the Robins buried the ghosts of last season’s FA Trophy semi-final exit with a revenge victory over FC Halifax Town at The Shay last month, Phil Parkinson’s men are eager to go all the way this season.

Despite Harriers sitting bottom of the Vanarama National League table, our hosts will be buoyed by the appointment of new manager Phil Brown earlier this week. The former Hull City boss will be keen to use Saturday’s cup match as an opportunity to kickstart a midseason revival.

The Gaffer

On what FA Trophy success means: “Kidderminster for me is a game that I am desperate to win because we want to progress in the Trophy. That is a massive game for us and the squad is going to be thoroughly tested.”

Altrincham’s flexibility: “You are seeing the benefits of our squad tonight (against Barnet). Lewis Baines picking up a man of the match from the sponsors while playing out of position just shows how good our squad is. The lads who are coming on, contributing, and making sure they are fit enough to do that is vital - it is so difficult when you are not playing (regularly) to stay focused and stay hungry
for your shirt, but this group demands that of each other.”

January 2015 – Damien Reeves’ ice-cold finish in the twentieth minute proved decisive as the Robins shut out the high-flying Kidderminster Harriers in Worcestershire.

Alty’s keeper Stuart Coburn also enjoyed a memorable performance between the sticks, as the 38-year-old withstood Kidderminster’s second-half onslaught and ensured we progressed to the FA Trophy Third Round.

Ticket prices for our trip to Kidderminster Harriers have been reduced to...

Away fans will only be able to purchase tickets online, no tickets will be sold to away supporters in-person on the day of the match.

Travel

● Road - Exit M5 at junction (signposted A456) and follow towards Kidderminster
(approximately 12 miles). At the roundabout on Kidderminster Ring Road, take the first exit (signposted A451 Stourport). At the next roundabout, take the first exit (signposted A448 Bromsgrove), then take the first turning on right (Hoo Road). Aggborough is approximately half a mile along on the left hand side.
● Train - Kidderminster Station (0.5 miles from Aggborough Stadium). Walk down Comberton Hill towards the town centre and take the left turning just before Motorway Tyres near the bottom of the hill. Walk up Hoo Road for approximately half a mile to Aggborough Stadium.
