ALTY travel to Kent this Saturday (3pm) as we face Ebbsfleet United at The Kuflink Stadium in our penultimate Vanarama National League match of 2023/24.

The Robins (5th, 71pts) remain in playoff contention despite being held to a 0-0 draw away at Dorking Wanderers last weekend, with neither side producing a moment of magic needed to break the deadlock.

Meanwhile, the Fleet (18th, 52pts) are in search of a victory that will confirm their survival in England’s fifth tier, having won eight of their 12 matches under manager Danny Searle.

The Gaffer

Resilience in defeat: “We are a really steely, determined team and that is why we have had a number of clean sheets this season. Our back five, back six, is the reason we find ourselves where we are. Front lines win you games, defences win you championships.”

Final push for playoffs: “Hopefully our fans can come and get behind us again (on the road). I know it is a massive ask, the travel and the finances, but hopefully, we are giving them a season where it has all been worthwhile.”

Alty left the visiting Ebbsfleet shell shocked before the break, having blazed to a 4-1 lead, before turning the screw further in the second half with goals from Chris Conn-Clarke and Lewis Baines.

Away supporters are located in the Swanscombe End of the ground, which will be open from 1pm. Tickets can be purchased online on the day at no extra cost and there is an away bar located between the old stand and away terrace.

Travel

• Road - Take Dunham Rd/A56 and A556 to M6 in Cheshire East. Continue on M6. Take M6 Toll, M6, M1 and M25 to A282 in Grays. Continue on A282. Take A2 and A2260 to Stonebridge Rd/A226 in Northfleet.
• Coach - Union Golf Road has organised a coach to Ebbsfleet. Departure times and booking details can be found here.
• Train - The nearest stations are Northfleet and Ebbsfleet International.

At the ground

• Match day programmes are available for purchase for £3 from vendors around the ground before the game.
• Hot food and drink are available at vans around the ground, with eating outlets available nearby the ground, too.
