Plenty of weekend and midweek action for our loanee youngsters over the last seven days around the North West in non-league steps two to six.

A notable performance came from academy full-back Harry St Romaine (cover picture) as Cheadle Heath Nomads put seven past Haughmond.

Weekend Round-Up

Lucas Weaver (Chorley, National League North)

The winger made his third appearance for Chorley last weekend in the 2-1 defeat at Peterborough Sports, continuing to gain valuable experience in his early outings as he settles into life at Victory Park.

Joel Bailey (Bamber Bridge, NPL Premier Division)

Joel completed another 90 minutes at the heart of the Brig defence but couldn’t prevent the Lancashire side from suffering a second consecutive defeat to FC United of Manchester.

Owen German (Ashton United, NPL Premier Division)

The academy graduate midfielder played the full 90 for Ashton United in their 4–0 defeat at home to Cleethorpes Town.

Remi Raymond (Congleton Town, NPL Division One West)

Following his recent loan move, Remi came off the bench once again for Congleton Town as The Bears won 4-0 at home to Wythenshawe Town.

Isaac Mannion (pictured above), Harry St Romaine & Joe Weston (Cheadle Heath Nomads, NWCFL Division One South)

The loan trio have made a strong impact at Cheadle Heath Nomads in recent games.

Isaac has started the last two matches, helping Nomads to back-to-back victories (3–2 and 7–0).

Harry completed both games, scoring once and earning a Man of the Match award for his performance on Saturday.

Joe also played in both matches, including the 7–0 win against Haughmond.

Harry Watson & Raion Rowe (Barnton, NWCFL Division One South)

Raion Rowe and Harry Watson continue to feature regularly for Barnton, with their last outing during the 1-1 midweek draw at Wolverhampton Sporting Community last week.

Henry Watts (Daisy Hill (NWCFL Division One North)

The young defender continues his steady development, taking his appearance tally to three after another solid showing last weekend as The Cutters beat Squires Gates 2-1 at home.

We thank Frazer Thorley & Total Fitness (Lucas Weaver), Go Interiors Warrington (Remi Raymond) & Ian Watmore (Owen German) for their player sponsorship in 2025/26.
