Lucas Weaver continued his incredible goalscoring run as he hit his 10th goal of the season on a weekend where four Altrincham loanees were in action.

His loan side, Bamber Bridge, hosted Morpeth Town on Saturday in the Northern
Premier League Premier Division after winning successive games against
Workington AFC and FC United of Manchester.

Brig started the clash well, with Weaver getting on the scoresheet in the opening 20 minutes. A through ball was delivered to the in-form striker, who rounded off the chance with a clever chip over the keeper from just inside the box.

Weaver has now scored eight goals in his last seven games in all competitions, making a huge impression in his time spent on loan.

Unfortunately for Bamber Bridge, however, they were unable to hold on to their early lead and claim all three points. A first-half penalty came before a 92nd -minute winner for the away side, leaving Weaver and his teammates 13th in the table.

Two more promising youngsters on the Altrincham books were in action for Witton
Albion against Wythenshawe at the weekend.

Albion managed a 1-1 draw, with both Joel Bailey and Owen German playing all 90 minutes. The Northern Premier League West Division is very closely contested, but Witton Albion continue to rise and now find themselves in 11th, just four points behind Wythenshawe in fourth.

German and Bailey have produced some fine performances in their current loan
spell, with German even being nominated for Witton Albion Player of the Month for
October.

Elsewhere, Max Beddow was in action once again for Redgate Clayton. His side,
playing against AFC Alsager, who are in fifth place, earned a point with a 1-1 draw. Beddow’s side have been temporarily knocked off top spot and into third, but they can reclaim it if they win their game in hand.
