Kacper's staying for another month!

Kacper Pasiek's attacking exploits have already endeared him to Altrincham fans, and they will be on display for another month after he agreed to extend his stay at The J.Davidson Stadium.

The 19-year old left-back is pictured in our main image (below) celebrating with Kahrel Reddin after lighting up The J.Davidson Stadium with a stunning strike from outside the area in last week's National League Cup win over Wolves under-21s.

He was due to return to his parent club Preston North End after completing a month on loan at Alty after Saturday's 1-0 Isuzu FA Trophy fifth-round home win over Eastleigh.

But, in a breakthrough that further bolsters the Robins' squad for a testing run of fixtures that includes several away trips in the coming weeks, Alty have arranged with Kacper and his club for him to remain with us for a further month.

Welcoming the news that the versatile defender will carry on in Alty colours, Director of Football Marc Tierney said: "We're happy that we are extending his deal. He has shown up really well in the games he has played so far, and it was a superb goal he scored against Wolves.

"That will have been great for his confidence, and everyone can see what a bright spark he is going to be for the team.

"The way he linked up with Kahrel the other day was really exciting to see. There is some real great pace there, with his overlapping prowess, and I'm sure that will come into fruition over the course of the next month.

"With Kian Taylor here as well, it's great to utilise these loans for young players and put them over to the coaches. I'm really happy to see how they'll be coached in the coming weeks into what we need and I'm really happy with the squad at the moment.

"It's looking really strong, and I'm looking forward to some interesting games on the back of the Trophy draw. So, it's looking bright and good, and I'm looking forward to seeing Kacper getting some more game time."

Alty first became aware of Kacper after playing a bounce game at Preston a couple of months ago and immediately singling him out as an ideal candidate for strengthening the left side of defence, particularly in the wake of Eddy Jones picking up an injury.

He went straight into the squad to face Barnet in a Trophy fourth-round tie at The J.Davidson Stadium a month ago and made his debut as an 84th-minute substitute in our 3-1 win.

Sure in the tackle and always eager to get forward and support the Robins' attacking endeavours, he has gone from strength to strength since then, and everyone at the club would like to wish him continuing success in Alty colours.
