THIS week's Joseph's Challenge - No Limits update details a BIG week seven for Joseph and the Challenge.

Joseph eased back into training, still a little bit sore, but under the brilliant care of Jeff Ross at Harris and Ross, who is 100 percent focused on helping Joseph be fit and ready for the challenge.

Thursday saw Joseph appear on BBC Radio Manchester fielding questions like a pro before heading to London where he was in the Royal Box at Wembley Stadium for the England Iceland game on Friday evening - with our CEO Sam Mackenzie and his Dad, Phil.

He was also given a special award of a signed Harry Kane shirt which he loved.

On Saturday, Joseph finished off a very busy week by participating in the Down Syndrome Tennis Programme at Hale Tennis Club with all his friends.

In fundraising news, we announced Travel Counsellors as the first official partner of Joseph's Challenge - No Limits. They will organise the logistics for the trip.

Official fundraising now stands at a fantastic £61,000, but Joseph's Dad tells us we are already past £100,000, taking into account amounts which have been pledged but not yet received - which is absolutely amazing!!!

A special fundraising mention this week goes to the members of the Alty Walking Football squad for their donation. True community spirit in action, and something that doesn't surprise Community Sports manager, Simon Dow. 

"The walking football guys are a big part of what Altrincham FC Community Sports is all about," he said. "They don't just come to a walking football session on a Wednesday. They volunteer at the club, are fans of the club, have the club at heart and they are really keen to support Joseph in his challenge."

Don't forget, if you're interested in joining Joseph on his 10^th and final 10k of the 'No Limits' Challenge on September 1^st, entries are open for the Altrincham 10k which goes right past the J.Davidson Stadium.
