Clegg departs to take over at Rylands
Altrincham Football Club chief scout Michael Clegg has been appointed as first team manager of Northern Premier League club Warrington Rylands.
Following his departure from Ashton United at the start of January, Michael joined Alty to support the management team with recruitment during a busy spell. While his plan was to move into recruitment but the job at Warrington Rylands was one too good to refuse.
Director Rob Esteva said: "Mike has only be with us for a short time but he has been a great influence at the club and our recent activity in the transfer market."
"We always knew Mike would be highly sought after and his time with us could be short. This is a great opportunity for him and one he cannot turn down and we wish him all the very best at Rylands."
Everybody at the club wishes Mike all the best in his new role.
