Alty aiming for six straight league wins - and a fiver gets you in to see if they can do it!
By Joe Brayne
Altrincham welcome Kidderminster Harriers to The J.Davidson Stadium this Tuesday (7.45pm kick-off) as we look to secure our sixth consecutive Vanarama National League victory.
Following the postponement of Saturday’s home fixture with Dorking Wanderers, due to a waterlogged pitch, we turn our attention to a resurgent Harriers side.
As this week coincides with half-term for many local schools, Altrincham are delighted to bring back our Footy for a Fiver initiative, which slashes adult admission prices to a mere £5.
The promotion extends to both home and away fans, and with a bumper crowd anticipated, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets online here in advance.
Matchday Information
As mentioned, Footy for a Fiver return this Tuesday, with admission prices for adults reduced to just £5.
The scheme has been unveiled with the intent to give families an affordable opportunity to see for themselves the giant strides taken by Alty on and off the pitch in recent times.
Turnstiles will open at 6.15pm. Though fans are advised to purchase tickets in advance, there will be the option to pay by cash at the turnstiles on the day, with an ATM available opposite the ground at the convenience store.
REMINDER – Altrincham fans can still purchase or renew their season ticket for the 2023-2024 season. Benefits include guaranteed access to all home fixtures, priority access to away and cup tickets and 10% off all retail purchases. Purchase or renew your season ticket here.
We kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for kick-off and to avoid late queues. Be advised that all supporters will be searched with a metal detector on entry to the stadium for your safety.
A food menu is available in all three food outlets, offering a wide range of options to home and away fans.
For wheelchair or pushchair access, please enter gate 5 and you will be looked after. The club’s retail shop will be open. Parking is street only.

About the Opposition
Newly-promoted Kidderminster Harriers are beginning to hit their stride in the National League, picking up two wins in their last three matches.
After falling to a 2-1 defeat on the road against FC Halifax Town last Saturday, however, the Harriers will be keen to bounce back immediately as they sit in 23rd place in the table.
Kidderminster assistant-manager Jimmy O'Connor urged his players to translate their talk of resilience into action ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Altrincham.
O’Connor stated: “The lads will come in Monday morning, absolutely bouncing, giving themselves the best chance to be picked in a team that can hopefully go to Altrincham and get a positive result.”
One stand-out player for our visitors this season has been defender Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain, the brother of former Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder Alex. Since joining Kidderminster in the summer transfer window, the 25-year-old has been a stalwart, playing every minute in the league and offering impressive versatility both in defence and attack.
