Altrincham FC Business Club's proud reputation for attracting star names to their monthly meetings has been further reinforced after renowned entrepreneur Brendan Flood agreed to be October's guest speaker at The J.Davidson Stadium.

Members have been treated to a series of fascinating first-hand accounts from guests at the very top of their professions over the past four years, and it promises to be more of the same when Brendan takes the floor in the John King Lounge on Friday, October 24th, starting at 8:30am.

What an impact he has made in his many areas of expertise, from launching UCFB (University Campus of Football Business) and helping steer Burnley back into the Premier League as one of their most dynamic board members to improving and reinvigorating properties in major cities across the country as the leading light of Cole Waterhouse.

UCFB was founded by Brendan at Turf Moor 14 years ago but has since branched out and flourished to such a degree that it states its goal as striving "to be the world’s leading sports education institution, providing diverse, experienced, best-in-class graduates to the football and sports industries.”

Brendan's aims for Burnley were just as far-reaching when he joined the board in 2006 and became their major investor and operational director the following year, as he applied his vision and drive to a successful promotion campaign back to the top flight in 2009.

He took his sporting acumen across the Atlantic soon after to help found Orlando City SC and establish them in the MLS, while, away from football, his 40 years' experience in the property industry is being put to good use as Chairman of Manchester-based Cole Waterhouse Group, specialising in new-build BTR (buy-to-rent) and logistics developments throughout the UK.

There will, then, be a fund of stories, anecdotes and insights at his disposal when he joins Business Club members and guests on Friday the 24th, and with the usual ever-popular breakfast items being freshly prepared and served from 8.30 onwards and networking opportunities available to all, October's get-together really is one not to be missed.
