A new date had been arranged for Altrincham's eagerly-awaited Vanarama National League fixture away to Chesterfield.

Alty were originally due to visit the SMH Group Stadium on Saturday, December 2 but the Spireites were otherwise engaged as they played an Emirates FA Cup second round tie at home to Leyton Orient on Sunday, which ended 1-0 to the Vanarama National League leaders.

The Chesterfield game will now take place on Tuesday January 16th, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

As ever, Phil and his players will be hoping for a bumper turnout of Robins fans to cheer them on as they bid to reinforce their push for a play-off place against a team who are currently 11 points clear at the top with a game in hand.
