Wrexham vs Altrincham match preview
Alty travel to Wales on Saturday as we face second-place and promotion-chasing Wrexham FC at the Racecourse Ground (3pm).
Following a 2-1 defeat against Gateshead resulting in our early exit from this year’s FA Cup and an agonising late equaliser, against ten-man Torquay on Saturday, Phil Parkinson’s men looked to bounce-back to winning form, as we hosted Oldham Athletic at The J.Davidson Stadium on Tuesday night.
A single goal from Chris Conn-Clarke in the 71st minute was all that was needed to secure the victory for the Robins, as we moved up to 15th place in the Vanarama National League table.

About The Opposition
Saturday’s opponents Wrexham will be looking to close the gap on top-of-the-table Notts County with our hosts only 3 points behind the league leaders.
They head into Saturday’s fixture on the back of a five-game unbeaten streak, with their last fixture against FC Halifax Town resulting in a 3-1 win.
The visitors took an early lead through a penalty scored by Dieseruvwe but three goals scored by Tozer, Davies and Hayden, secured the victory for the home side and solidified their home form, the current best in the league after scoring 30 goals at the Racecourse Ground this season.
