This weekend we head for Cumbria

Two impressive results on the spin for the Robins against promotion contenders sees Neil Gibson's men head into Saturday fixture at Carlisle full of confidence.

Alty will be looking for another positive display and outcome from the game in Cumbria, as the business end of 2025/26 comes into view.

The Opposition

Title challengers Carlisle United have one of the best home records in the division, averaging two points and two goals per game at Brunton Park so far this season.

Under the guidance of former Manchester United and Wales great Mark Hughes, our hosts currently sit fifth in the Enterprise National League on 56 points, having won 17 games and scored 49 goals.

Hear It From Neil Gibson

“We ask the players to go out there and earn the right to keep their shirt and the players have definitely earned the right with the last couple of performances."

Last Time We Met

At a rain-soaked J.Davidson Stadium in September, it was Carlisle who came out on top 2-1 in front of over 3,000 fans on Moss Lane.

Despite top scorer Jimmy Knowles' first half penalty, Georgie Kelly and Regan Linney were on target for the visitors as they claimed the three points.
