ALTY welcome York City to The J.Davidson Stadium this Tuesday (7.45pm) as we look to bounce back to form in the Vanarama National League.

The Robins’ (9th, 55pts) recent struggles continued on Saturday as Woking scored in the 91st minute to seal a shock victory on the road.

Meanwhile, the Minstermen (22nd, 40pts) were unable to gain ground over relegation rivals Kidderminster following a 1-1 draw at the Aggborough Stadium.

Hear from the Gaffer

Youthful side needs time: “We were a bit naïve (today), but we have to consider the group age and demographic. I pick them and put them out there, so maybe I am naive as well to think they can do it every single week to get results.”

Looking ahead to York: “This is a challenge to everyone, players and staff, to pick ourselves back up after we’ve suffered a body blow. I feel the same (frustration) as everybody else around here - when we have had such a great season and it feels like we are petering out at the end.”

Last time against York City

York 2-2 Altrincham (Chris Conn-Clarke 37’, Matty Kosylo 65’)

Last August – The inspired substitutions of Justin Amaluzor and Matty Koslyo during the game’s final half-hour helped Alty earn a richly-deserved point at the LNER Community Stadium.

Introduced in the 64th minute, the pair made an immediate impact with their first touches as Amaluzor found Kosylo in the box, who levelled the score in the 65th minute.
