Our annual Christmas tussle with Halifax
Merry Christmas everyone - traditional Boxing Day football is on the way Friday afternoon as we once more go into battle against FC Halifax Town (3pm).
There's one difference this year - we're off to The Shay - as we finish our 2025 Enterprise National League away schedule against the Shaymen.
Our Opponents
Halifax's latest league outing came on Sunday, live on DAZN, when they gave up a two-goal lead before drawing 2-2 at home to Wealdstone.
In his first season as manager, Adam Lakeland has overseen a record of nine wins, five draws and nine defeats, leaving the Shaymen in ninth position, three points outside the playoffs and six points ahead of the Robins at the halfway stage of 2025/26.

Last Time Out
It wouldn't be a Christmas or Easter Bank Holiday without an Enterprise National League game against Halifax.
Last time out at The Shay back on Easter Monday, in the final weeks of 2024/25, it was a comprehensive 3-0 win for the Robins thanks to goals from Jake Bickerstaff and Regan Linney (2).
