THE eye-catching acquamarine away strip has already had its first airing, and now we are delighted to be able to present the brand new home kit all our teams will be wearing as we head into an eagerly-awaited 2024-25 campaign.

The away colours, with the AO logo and Altrincham club badge woven into the Puma shirts, made their debut last Saturday as Phil Parkinson's players launched the build-up to the new season with a highly-satisfactory work-out that produced a 1-0 win at Colne.

Now, the main event, the launch of the home kit and wearing it for the first time, is happening in the space of 24 hours, as our exciting new partnership with the country's leading online electricals retailers AO begins to take shape.

From midday today, the kit will be available for purchase in our popular town centre store in the pedestrian precinct, stocking all manner of Alty merchandise and always offering the warmest of welcomes, while orders for the new-look shirts, shorts and socks can also be placed online from this evening onwards.

All sizes of shirts, shorts and socks are already in the shop, up to 4XL.

There's nothing quite like seeing a new kit being worn by the players on a match day, and the first opportunity for Alty fans will be tomorrow afternoon when we continue our pre-season programme away to Lancaster City, kicking off at 2pm.

Modelled here by forwards Regan Linney and Alex Newby, the shirt has the traditional red and white stripes and has a white band round the chest to allow the AO logo to be clearly visible. The club badge also stands out clearly on one of the white stripes, and the Puma kit is rounded off with black shorts and white socks.

Phil, Neil Sorvel and the players are hoping for another sizeable turnout of travelling Alty fans tomorrow, as preparations continue for one of the most eagerly-anticipated season of recent times, with the squad sporting their new main kit for the first time.
