We are delighted to confirm Neil Gibson has been appointed permanent manager of Altrincham FC.

After a strong initial four-week spell in charge of the first team, Neil and assistant Lee Jones have signed contracts through to the end of the 2026/27 season.

Talking about the appointment, Chairman Mark Luby said: “The club has gone through a full process in appointing a new permanent manger. The decision to appoint Neil Gibson and Lee Jones was not taken purely on the results.

"Neil and Lee have demonstrated to the Board over the four weeks since they came into the building that they have all the experience and necessary skills to keep current momentum and continue to move us in the right direction. I would like to congratulate them both on their appointment, they thoroughly deserve this chance, and I am looking forward to working closely with them in the coming seasons.”

We look forward to the future under the management of Neil and Lee and are positive all our fans, volunteers and sponsors will give them and the squad the backing to drive the team on for the rest of the season and beyond.
