Lucas Weaver has joined Radcliffe on loan until January after returning from his successful spell at Bamber Bridge, where he enjoyed an incredible run of goal scoring form.
The exciting young forward made a strong impression for Brig, scoring nine goals in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. He’s bagged eight goals in his final seven games for the Lancashire side in all competitions, rising to joint third in the division’s goal scoring charts.
Weaver signed for Alty in the summer after catching the eye of Phil Parkinson while racking up 42 goals in 43 appearances for Colne during the 2023/24 North West Counties League Premier Division season.
The winger's new club Radcliffe are participating in the National League North for the first time this season after winning the Northern Premier League in 2023/24. They currently sit 21st, three points from safety.
"Lucas has done really well at NPL level this season with Bamber Bridge," said manager Phil Parkinson. "We feel it's the right time to move Lucas up to the National League North. If he keeps on producing the outputs at Radcliffe then we know he'll be on course to make the step up to our first team very soon."
Many thanks to Spencer Hayes Group & Darren Harrison for sponsoring Lucas this season.
