Loan Watch | Plenty of games despite the weather

Plenty of action for our youngsters this week, stepping up and making an impact for their respective loan clubs around the North West.

Joel Bailey (Bamber Bridge | NPL Premier Division)

After his FA Cup outing last week, centre-back Joel Bailey continues to impress for Bamber Bridge. He played the entirety of their 2–2 Northern Premier League draw with Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday, before also starting their Lancashire Challenge Trophy victory against Atherton Collieries on Tuesday, adding more valuable first-team experience to his portfolio.

Remi Raymond (Witton Albion | NPL Division One West)

Forward-thinking youngster Remi Raymond earned his first start for Witton Albion, featuring in their 1-0 Isuzu FA Trophy defeat at home to Dunston UTS.

The midfielder also started on Tuesday in the away league clash at Congleton Town.

Lucas Edwards (Irlam | NWCFL Premier Division)

Back from injury, Lucas Edwards helped Irlam secure a 2–0 win over Bacup Borough in Isuzu FA Vase Second Round Qualifying - an important step as he works to regain full match sharpness.

Max Beddow & Harry Watson (Barnton | NWCFL Division One South)

Max Beddow again started between the posts in Barnton’s 3–1 home win over Ashville in
the NWCFL Division One South.

Harry Watson made an appearance off the bench in the Isuzu FA Vase Second Round Qualifying tie, although Barnton suffered a 5–0 defeat to Cheadle Town in that fixture.

Isaac Mannion (Cheadle Heath Nomads | NWCFL Division One South)

Unfortunately Isaac didn’t feature this week as Cheadle Heath Nomads’ fixture was postponed.

Many thanks to Go Interiors Warrington for sponsoring all of Remi's first team kits this season. The support is hugely appreciated.
