Loan Watch | Lucas bags a brace for Chorley

Winger Lucas Weaver was the standout performer from our crop of loan players this past weekend across the non-league pyramid in the North West.

Playing against one of his former loan clubs in Radcliffe, Lucas claimed a brace for Chorley as Andy Preece's side secured a National League North point at the Neuven Stadium.

Weekend Round-Up

Joel Bailey (Bamber Bridge, NPL Premier Division)

Bamber Bridge’s number six played another full match for the Lancashire side, a 2-1 defeat at Morpeth Town.

Owen German (Ashton United, NPL Premier Division)

The academy graduate midfielder played once again for Ashton United, helping them to a 2-0 victory against Ilkeston Town.

Remi Raymond (Congleton Town, NPL Division One West)

Saturday was Remi’s first start for Congleton Town, after four previous sub appearances since joining the club. The Bears lost 2-0 at Clitheroe.

Isaac Mannion (Cheadle Heath Nomads, NWCFL Division One South) 

Academy winger Isaac started for Cheadle Heath Nomads in the 0-0 at Market Drayton Town.

Max Beddow, Harry Watson & Raion Rowe (Barnton, NWCFL Division One South)

All three academy lads started for Barnton in their 2-1 win against Foley Meir on Saturday, moving the Northwich-based side up to fourth in the table.

Henry Watts & Jacob Martin (Daisy Hill, NWCFL Division One North)

Henry Watts has been joined at Daisy Hill by fellow academy player Jacob Martin. Henry started for The Cutters, while Jacob came off the bench, as the Westhoughton-based club drew 1-1 at Steeton in a mid-table clash.
