Altrincham FC and Alty FC Foundation are delighted to announce that, through the funding raised from Joseph Adams and his No Limits challenge, we will be providing headsets for use during all home games this season.

The headsets will provide full match commentary through Radio Robins on Radio Alty and provide fans who are blind or partially sighted to enjoy both the matchday atmosphere and listen to the commentary for the game.

To reserve your headset, please email simon@altrinchamfootballclub.co.uk by 5pm on the day before a home game.

The matchday collection of your headset will be as follows:

• Collection from Foundation stand in Community Sports Hall up until 15 minutes prior to kick off
• Return to Foundation stand in Community Sports Hall within 30 minutes of match ending.

Head of Community Simon Dow is delighted to provide this new service. He said:

“We want to make matchdays accessible and enjoyable for all and the headsets are another way in which we can do this. If you are partially sighted, visually impaired or just want to enjoy the Radio Alty commentary while at the stadium, this new service will be a great addition to the fan experience at the J.Davidson Stadium.”
