Alty are on the road again this Wednesday (7:45pm) heading south to do battle with promotion contenders Forest Green Rovers at The New Lawn.

Neil Gibson's side travel to Gloucestershire having lost a close Enterprise National League encounter at Hartlepool United on Saturday via a late penalty.

The Opposition

Wednesday's hosts find themselves in a five-way battle for the title as the 2025/26 season moves within 20 games of its conclusion.

Robbie Savage's side sit fifth in the Enterprise National League, just two points off top spot, having won 15 of their 27 league games so far, scoring 45 goals.

“We're in the situation now with the games coming thick and fast. The more games we play, the more training sessions we have, the more we can get the new players integrated and up to speed.

"The new lads have come in and given a fresh impetus to the group and we've got real competition for places. We've managed to sign some real assets to the squad and we're looking at hopefully adding one or two more."

A narrow 2-1 defeat for the Robins back in September at The J.Davidson Stadium in front of 1,529 fans.

Kahrel Reddin was on target for Alty with a first half equaliser, before Ryan Inniss headed home a late winner for the visitors.
