Final Day is almost here

One more game to come in 2025/26 and it's at The J.Davidson Stadium on Saturday lunchtime (12:30pm) against Gateshead.

Join us for the game and afterwards our End Of Season Awards as we look to finish the Enterprise National League season with a third win on the spin.

The Opposition

The Heed pulled themselves clear of the drop zone after registering nine wins following the re-appointment of Rob Elliot as manager in early January.

Saturday's opponents sit 17th in the National League standings, with 50 points from their 45 games. They've won four of their last six.

Hear It From The Gaffer

"We want to end the season on the right note and tone, and that's with a win in front of our brilliant fans. To finish the campaign with three wins in a row would also be a hugely positive way to finish the campaign."

(Following his yellow card at last weekend's game against Sutton United, Neil will be serving a one-game touchline ban on Saturday)

Final Day at The J.Davidson Stadium

We open the turnstiles at 11am so supporters can enjoy the pre-match build-up in the Fan Zone and CSH Bar, as well as the option of grabbing some Alty merch - at a discounted rate this weekend - from our Club Shop (situated in the Fan Zone corner of the stadium).

Following the final whistle the players will do a lap of appreciation, before our End Of Season Awards get started at 3:45pm in the CSH Bar (vote here for Goal of the Season, Supporter's Player and Young Player).

Entry to the Awards for supporters will be via the CSH Bar door closest to the main stand, with space allocated on a first come, first served basis. The awards are scheduled to run for about an hour.

The Fan Zone will remain open till 6pm and the CSH Bar will be open longer, with Manchester City v Southampton on our big screens from 5:15pm.

We're set to welcome over 40 members of the Match Of The Dames initiative to Saturday's game as we celebrate the success of introducing 400 women and girls to thrills and excitement of non-league football across the 2025/26 season.

Security on Matchdays

Working closely with our stewarding team, and in consultation with Greater Manchester Police, we are carrying out screening procedures to prevent potential weapons or prohibited items from entering the ground. These checks are now becoming common practice at football stadiums across the country and are part of our shared responsibility to protect each other.

The introduction of Martyn’s Law (Terrorism Protection of Premises Act 2025) has also placed greater emphasis on the legal duty of venues like ours to assess risks and have robust safety plans in place. While much of this reflects what we already do, it reinforces the need for vigilance and preparation in today’s world.

We completely understand that supporters may sometimes feel these checks go too far. However, we want to be clear: safety will always come first. Our goal is to provide the best possible matchday experience in a safe and welcoming environment for all.

On behalf of the club, thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we put these important measures into practice.
