Altrincham's Emirates FA Cup meeting with Oldham Athletic has been made all-ticket, and the club are now able to announce details of how supporters can make sure of their place at one of the stand-out ties of the fourth qualifying round draw.
Huge interest is expected in a showdown between famed Cup battlers Alty and a club who were seconds away from reaching the final in 1994 until being denied by a last-gasp Mark Hughes equaliser in an epic semi-final against Manchester United.
With that in mind, the decision has been taken to make the tie, at The J.Davidson Stadium on Saturday October 14th (3pm), all-ticket, with each club supervising sales to their own supporters.
Alty season ticket holders and LoyAlty members will be sent a private link at 9am tomorrow morning (Thursday), and they can buy as many tickets as they wish, with prices kept at the same rate as for league games at £20 for adults, £15 concessions, £9 12-18 years old, £4 under-12s and £1 under-5s.
Twenty-four hours later, at 9am on Friday morning, tickets will go on general sale, and the club are urging Robins fans not to delay in booking their place at what is sure to be a packed J.Davidson Stadium as the two sides vie for a place in the first round proper.
To make the occasion even more special, Alty's renowned hospitality in the Mornflake Sponsors' Lounge will be available at £65 per person for a package that includes a three-course meal prepared by our resident full-time chef, a match programme, a pre-match address by manager Phil Parkinson, a chance to meet our man-of-the-match afterwards and hear him being interviewed and, of course, a reserved seat for following all the action.
The hospitality option for a matchday experience to remember is becoming increasingly popular with Alty fans, so why not make sure of your place as the Robins hit the Cup trail once more. You can book from Friday morning onwards, and the sooner the better, as early indications suggest demand will be high.
To reiterate, the tie is scheduled for 3pm kick-off on Saturday October 14th unless we are instructed otherwise by the relevant authorities, in which case an update on arrangements will be brought to you at the earliest opportunity.
And please remember, these ticket details apply to home fans only. Oldham will be responsible for selling their allocation of tickets to their supporters, and any Oldham fans found in the home end will be ejected from the ground.
