Confirmation that Dan Sassi will remain with the Robins until the end of the season after his loan from EFL League One side Blackpool was extended.

The 22-year-old central defender has played 29 games for Alty so far in 2025/26, after originally joining up with the squad at the start of August.

"Our fans have seen how well Dan has played for us this season," said manager Neil Gibson. "He's exactly the kind of defender we want at the football club, he's really enjoyed his time at Alty so far and it felt like a perfect fit to extend his loan for the rest of this season."
