We are three-quarters of the way through our AltyTV Academy special series of interviews with up-and-coming young Altrincham players, and today of is the turn of Tom Jones to take centre stage.

Tom can operate in the number 10 role, on the wing or in midfield, and he proved himself to be pretty adept in all three positions last season as he played a prominent part in a highly successful campaign for our Academy teams.

Brian Flynn visited Alty's Egerton training ground to find out more about Tom's background and hopes for the future in an interview that can be accessed here. Camerawork, as ever, was by Mark Bennett.
