50 not out! Season ticket scheme continues as we aim to bring up The Hundred!

Altrincham Co-Chairman Bill Waterson writes:

When we launched our latest campaign last week, The Hundred in 100, we knew we were setting our sights high. It was always going to be a big ask to generate 100 new season ticket holders in the space of 100 hours, but it caught on so well that we are now over halfway towards reaching our target.

That is a positive response in anyone's book, so much so that we have decided to continue the scheme to enable as many people as possible to join the growing ranks of Alty season ticket holders.

You may gather from this latest policy decision that season ticket sales matter, and you would be right. They matter to the club and they matter to those supporters who buy them and benefit from the many advantages on offer.

Where to start with the multiple incentives for any Alty fan to take the plunge and become a season ticket holder?

Let's begin with value for money. If you are a regular attendee at The J. Davidson Stadium, monitoring the fortunes of an Alty team going from strength to strength under Phil Parkinson and Neil Sorvel and playing football of a consistently high calibre, you will save a significant amount by paying for a ticket that will guarantee you a place at every home game in the Vanarama National League.

Ah, but I have already missed one game so will be out of pocket, you may say if you haven't already bought a season ticket but are thinking of doing.

Not so. In a new initiative this year, the club are reducing the price of a season ticket pro rata after every home game for the first few weeks to ensure you can buy a ticket after the campaign has started without value for money being adversely affected.

You will also, of course, be able to look forward to dedicated and speedier access to The J. Davidson Stadium, priority purchase of tickets for our big Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Trophy ties and discount online.

In addition, if an existing season ticket holder refers you and you name who it is when you purchase your ticket, they will receive a £50 voucher for the club shop.

Finally, all season ticket holders, new and old, will be entered into a free draw, with prizes including hospitality for four at a forthcoming home game and a signed Alty shirt.

From the club's perspective, season ticket sales are so important for improved cash flow, easier matchday management and a better connection with our most committed fans.

You could, at a stretch, argue there's even more football for your money, with the new directive on time added on meaning games are now lasting anything up to 110 minutes and beyond - all at no extra cost!

So don't delay, here are the season ticket prices for purchases up to and including the Boreham Wood game on 19th August.
