Altrincham 0 Yeovil Town 1
Alty were defeated late by Yeovil Town and a Terrell Weeks goal on a damp Enterprise National League afternoon at The J.Davidson Stadium
It was a relatively quiet first half at the J Davidson Stadium, with neither side able to break the deadlock. Luke Hutchinson had to remain vigilant between the sticks to deny the visitors taking the lead on 17 minutes, making a great save from Brett McGavin’s close range free kick. He was called into action once again just minutes later to superbly stop a Troy Perrett effort.
The Robin’s best chance came on the 27th minutes from the penalty spot, after Kahrel Reddin was fouled, however, following top scorer Jimmy Knowles’ spot kick was saved by the left hand of Jed Ward.
After the break, The Robins look to fight right out of the gate through a fast break and an effort from Charlie Kirk, which was narrowly wide. In the 50th minute, Yeovil’s Perrett came close once again, with Jake Cooper heroically denying the midfielder’s shot off the line.

Reddin continued to look dangerous down the right flank, making the opposition’s defence twist and turn, in the 57th minute, before laying off to Matty Kosylo, whose effort was well saved.
An acrobatic attempt from Dan Sassi flew just over the bar in the 84th minute, as Alty pushed for a winner, only for the visitors to snatch the only goal of the game soon after.
Substitute Luke McCormick saw his effort from a quick break saved by Hutchinson, only for another sub, Terrell Weeks, to finish off the rebound, securing all three points for the Somerset side.
