Midweek football is back at The J.Davidson Stadium
The games are coming thick and fast as we welcome everyone back to The J.Davidson Stadium on Tuesday for a cracking midweek clash in the Enterprise National League against Hartlepool United.
It's the third season in a row we've taken on Tuesday's visitors at home on a Tuesday night, with Pools also being led by their third manager in as many J.Davidson Stadium outings.
Keep The Ball Rolling
Our opening couple of league encounters have so far yielded three points after an exciting victory over Aldershot followed by Saturday's narrow loss at Rochdale - with plenty of positives to take from both games.
For our visitors it's four points from two games under the management of Simon Grayson - a point on the road against Yeovil Town on opening day followed by three points on Saturday at home to Braintree Town.
The Gaffer
"It's not helpful when the fixtures are scheduled as they are, with the lads putting in a huge amount of effort at Rochdale on Saturday.
"The level of commitment in the group of players we have is really high, the quality is really high. We just need to see going into Tuesday and Hartlepool a level of consistency. They've set a level at Rochdale and it's one we need to keep meeting as the weeks and fixtures continue."
