The fixtures are out for next season, and Altrincham's luck has held firm, with the Robins launching yet another campaign on home territory at the beginning of next month.

For the eighth time in the last nine years, Alty can look forward to stepping out at The J.Davidson Stadium for the first game of a new season after the newly-released 2023-24 fixture list paired us with Dagenham & Redbridge at Moss Lane on Saturday August 5th.

As might be expected after a home match on day one, the Robins are soon hitting the road, with away fixtures following in quick succession at Woking on Saturday August 12th and York City three days later.

Two tough home tests take Phil Parkinson's side through the latter stages of August, against Boreham Wood on the 19th and promotion play-off finalists Chesterfield on the 26th, and the month ends with what should be an intriguing visit to AFC Fylde on Bank Holiday Monday the 28th.

September brings us our first close-up of one of the sides relegated from League Two as Hartlepool United head to The J.Davidson Stadium for a 7.45pm kick off on Tuesday the 19th.

Derbies are always worth an entry in the diary, and Rochdale's relegation means we now have four spicy local tussles to savour, starting with a visit to Boundary Park to take on Oldham Athletic on Saturday October 28th.

A trip to Spotland, now known as The Crown Oil Arena, follows on Tuesday November 21st, with the return fixtures being at The J.Davidson Stadium against The Dale on Tuesday January 23rd and Latics on Monday April 1st.

FC Halifax Town are once more our opponents for the festive double-header, with the Shaymen again visiting The J.Davidson Stadium on Boxing Day and the Robins heading over the Pennines for the return fixture on New Year's Day.

The season ends with another home game, as newly-promoted Oxford City travel north to The J.Davidson Stadium on Saturday, April 20th.

If the visit of Dagenham & Redbridge is only just over four weeks away, the start of our pre-season programme is even closer at hand, with a Robins squad containing eight new signings heading up the M6 to face Lancaster City in our first warm-up match this coming Saturday afternoon.

A much shorter journey to FC United of Manchester is next up after that on Tuesday evening, and there is so much to follow, including a trailblazing trip to Holland to take on NEC Nijmegen, a home meeting with Stockport County and so much more besides.
