Community Trust Day at The J.Davidson Stadium

Community Trust Day is coming to The J.Davidson Stadium for Good Friday's Enterprise National League clash with FC Halifax Town.

Altrincham FC Community Sports, the official charity of Altrincham FC, will be showcasing their community projects around the ground with stands in the Community Sports Hall Bar and Fan Zone, while raising money via a matchday bucket collection.

As part of the club's commitment to the local community, free tickets are being offered to 20 partner schools and Mini Kickers youngsters, along with Altrincham FC Walking Footballers, students from the new Employability Programme and Alty Ability participants.

Simon Dow, Head of Community at Altrincham FC Community Sports, is delighted to be able to use an important matchday to promote the valuable work carried out by the club's charity.

“We are delighted to host our annual Community Day at The J.Davidson Stadium for Altrincham FC vs Halifax Town. The work of Altrincham FC Community Sports delivers essential physical activity, health and wellbeing programmes to children, young people, and adults across Altrincham and Trafford — positively impacting over 2,500 people every week.

"I would like to thank Altrincham FC for the generous donation of 1,000 tickets for this season, that has enabled us to provide lasting memories for the children, young people and adults that we deliver our programmes to. Being able to offer the fantastic opportunity to attend Altrincham FC home matches is a key part of our delivery and highlights the power of football and Altrincham FC.

"Thanks to the support of J.Davidson Scrap Metal Processors, National League Trust, National Lottery, Premier League Foundation, Trafford Council, and the incredible fundraising efforts of Joseph Adams through his “No Limits” challenge, we are able to provide a wide range of programmes including Premier League Primary Stars, our Alty Ability programme and an exciting new Employability programme for adults with SEND.

"We are also proud to offer sessions such as walking football, senior exercise classes, and our fantastic Alty Mini Kickers.

"Through the power of football and the Altrincham FC name, we are making a real difference in the local community. For every £1 invested in Altrincham FC Community Sports, £9.42 of social value is generated — contributing to a total impact of £3.1 million in 2025 alone. Please donate what you can — every £1 truly makes a difference in helping us continue this vital work.”

Altrincham FC CEO Sam Mackenzie, who is also on the board of Altrincham FC Community Sports board, said:

"Community Trust Day is a matchday where we hand the afternoon over to our Community Trust. We thank them for all the work they do out in the community and I know our fans will all come together to support and celebrate their important contribution.

"Their work is invaluable and brings people together through the power of football. We hope everyone in attendance on Good Friday will take some time to engage with the Trust at their stands in the Community Sports Hall and Fan Zone.

"We're also looking forward to welcoming everyone from the community who is making use of the free tickets the club has donated. I know you will all enjoy watching the Robins in action."

Annual Easter Egg Giveaway

We're delighted to be carrying on our Easter tradition of offering 150 chocolate eggs to our younger supporters as they enter the stadium on Good Friday.

Gates will open at 1:30pm with eggs on offer until the turnstiles close - or, more likely, when we run out.

As with all Bank Holiday fixtures on Moss Lane we're anticipating a bumper crowd to cheer on the Robins. We encourage all fans to buy their general admission tickets early online here OR you can grab one of the last remaining hospitality seats in the John King Lounge here.
