Brad's Buxton-bound after agreeing loan move
Brad Jackson is heading to Buxton on loan to gain valuable game time and help their fight to steer clear of relegation in the Vanarama National League North.
Alty's versatile right-sided specialist, who can operate as a full-back or winger, is hoping for an immediate debut after being included in the Bucks' squad for tonight's home game with Chorley, kicking off at 7.45pm.
Craig Elliott's side currently occupy 20th place in the National League North and can expect a tough test against a Chorley team who are up in the play-off positions.
But with former Alty skipper Jake Moult and another former Robin Connor Kirby marshalling their midfield, the addition of experienced 26-year old Brad can only enhance their chances of climbing the table.
Signed from Chester 18 months ago, Brad has been restricted to five league starts for Alty this season and should benefit from more game time at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium, hopefully starting tonight.
Good luck in Derbyshire, Brad, and here's hoping for plenty of time in the middle for the Bucks!
