Are you a university student who has recently relocated to Manchester for your studies and still wants to play competitive women's football?

Altrincham FC Women are actively recruiting new players for the 2026/27 season and would love to hear from students looking to continue their football journey while at university.

Playing in the North West Women's Regional Football League, Division One Central, tier six of women's football, we are a highly ambitious club with our sights firmly set on promotion, a league title challenge, and success in cup competitions this season. We welcome:

• Students looking to register permanently with a club in the Manchester area.
• Players wishing to dual register and continue competing for both their university team and a local club where regulations allow.
• Ambitious players who want regular training, competitive matchdays, and a positive, development-focused environment.

Last season was a historic campaign for the club. We achieved our highest-ever league finish and enjoyed a record-breaking Women's FA Cup run, winning five FA Cup matches and reaching the Third Round Proper for the first time in the club's history. Remarkably, only Manchester City Women matched our number of FA Cup victories during the competition, highlighting the scale of the achievement and the progress being made at the club.

As we build on that success, we are looking for talented, committed players who want to be part of an exciting project and help us take the next step towards promotion.

Our schedule is well suited to university students, with:

• Training every Tuesday, 7:00pm to 9:00pm, in Partington
• Training every Thursday, 7:00pm to 9:00pm, in Cheadle
• Home matches played at Partington, 2:00pm on Sunday afternoons
• Away fixtures across the North West Women's Regional League, Division One Central
